Searson and Sharpe strikes Selby Juniours to Cup glory
  Oundle Jumiors 0 - 12 Selby Juniours

Selby Juniours dominated from start to finish in this u11 league cup encounter played at Oundle to book their passage through to the next round. In bright Autumn sunshine, Selby Juniours attacked from the kick off with Jamie Sharpe providing a great cross for Mitchel Hedley, who narrowly shot wide. Joe Searson shot a net buster to begin the onslaught and shortly afterwards Mitchel Hedley coming in from the right fired home with a right foot shot to score goal no 2. A fantastic volley from striker Joe Searson made it 3-0 with only 10 minutes gone. The Oundle ‘keeper pulled off a couple of terrific saves to keep the score line respectable from Jamie Sharpe and Mitchel Hedley. Selby Juniours ‘keeper Mark Grundy was only troubled a couple of times in the first half but he handled comfortably. Good build up play by Matthew Baynham resulted in Joe Searson scoring his hat-trick and Owen Skinner provided a perfect delivery for Jamie Sharpe to smash home a great volley into the top hand corner to make the half time score 5-0 to Selby Juniours. Unfortunately due to injury the Oundle ‘keeper was forced off but following the substitution, Jamie Sharpe fired home a fantastic rocket with a left foot lob over the stranded ‘keeper. David Stevenette, playing wide on the left wing was able to beat two home defenders and send over a quality cross for Jamie Sharpe to knock in.

The goal of the match was scored by Jamie Sharpe with a scorcher in the left hand top corner with an awesome shot leaving the ‘keeper helpless. Super sub, Jordan Watson was able to open his account with a ½ volley just in the penalty box after a great turn to create some space.  Jamie Sharpe turned provider with a neat pass to Jordan Watson to make it double figures for Selby Juniours with a delicate left foot pass. Joe Searson scored his fourth with a great strike in front of goal which left Owen Skinner just time to slot home the final goal of the match to make the score 12-0 in favour of Selby Juniours. Stand in Coach, Paul Stevenette said “this was a truly professional job by the boys who were determined to play attractive football and get through to the next round. This result has been coming all season and will give the other teams left in the cup something to think about! We looked strong throughout the team and the scoreline was a fair reflection on the domination by Selby Juniours. We are happy to be in the next round and don’t mind who we face. I am sure the other teams will want to avoid us after this showing”. If betting at bestrealmoneyonlinecasinos.co.uk was a part of the game, the gamble would have definitely been in favor of the Selby Juniours.
